I am running for school board because I’m a product of working parents who fought to make sure my public school education gave me the tools I needed to thrive, and I want Oakland parents and families to feel like they can count on OUSD to give their children everything they deserve.

I’m not a politician; I’m an organizer. I know how to  hold those in power accountable, and I will ALWAYS stand with Oakland students, families, educators and community in the fight for Oakland kids. My campaign is by the people, for the people and it’s going to take all of us to win a majority on the school board in November who will fight for Oakland students.
